BB Boarding at the Carp 7/17/18

You will see lots of great BackBlasts this morning that will brag about the strengths and feats of the Louisville PAX. I will do the same. The six strong Carpenter HIMs that showed up in this morning’s gloom made their way through the Board of Pain like real men (even though I might have put them at a disadvantage with a longer-than-planned COP and a longer-than-necessary mosey between each workout).

Captain Insano finished 22 Mac Tar Mais

Pork Chop finished 100 Dry Docks and a mosey

Trump finished 90 Dry Docks

Fergie and FNG Sweatshop finished 200  LBCs and a mosey

YHC Q Retainer finished 90 squats.

But the workout was not what was great about today. The coordination between Digiorno, Nugget, Methane, McAfee, Thumbtack, and myself to pull it off was fun. Working out together made us  better. But what was really special about today, and about every one of our F3 workouts, is that we all pushed each other to be better people.

My message in the COT was simple: the world is a pretty frustrating place. With all of Washington’s news, all of Twitter’s negativity, and all of our personal struggles, it would be easy to give up. But the world isn’t always going to be like this. We’re going to make it through today’s challenges, personally and collectively, and we will be better when it’s all said and done. And the only way we’ll do it is by sticking together.

Isaiah 40:29-31

“He gives power to the faint, abundant strength to the weak. Though young men faint and grow weary, and youths stagger and fall, they that hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar on eagles’ wings; They will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint.”

Retainer out.
