depends has been ribbing me about my musical taste for a while now, going as far as putting blink and Puddle of Mudd in the same sentence. So we have some POM walk up music to get the morning started before the 5:30am start time. I pull a smile and a chuckle out of our site Q and I’m taking the W.
As the clock struck 5:30am, the real playlist starts and we get right into blink’s discography. How do you narrow down so many hits into just 45 minutes? That was the real question. I went with one personal favorite (not necessarily radio hit) from each album.
Warmup consisted of 5 rounds, one for each full time band member who was ever part of the band (Mark, Tom, Travis in addition to lesser known Scott and Matt):

-Blink 182 had cameo appearances in: American Pie, The Simpsons, and Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place (with Ryan Reynolds)
-One of their major albums (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket) was almost called “Vasectomie Vasectoyou”.
-10 full length albums was going to be tributed this morning in the form of “10’s” from the Beach up to Small Lot but due to lack of time, I scrapped this “Thang” from the morning action.
-I convinced my family to let me name our dog “Josie”, before explaining to them that it’s the title of one of Blink’s OG hits. Now if I can only train her to “bring me Mexican Food from Sombrero’s just because….”
