BB – The Loco at The County – One Star Q – 09/17/2024

In the quiet town of Pewee Valley, Kentucky, seven ancient warriors—known for their valor and honor—had lived out their days as F3 legends. Their names, etched in the annals of forgotten lore, were spoken of in hushed tones, and their tales became woven into the fabric of local myths.

One crisp September Tuesday morning, a mysterious gloom surrounded the valley. From it emerged a strange artifact, a shimmering white board inscribed with ancient symbols and instructions. The warriors, drawn by the artifact’s pulsing energy, gathered around it. Their leader, a youthful sage named One Star, felt a surge of power as he touched the board. Instantly, the group was transported across time and space to a bustling cityscape.

The warriors found themselves standing in the shadow of a colossal arch. The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, they soon learned, was not just a monument but a portal to another dimension. As they ventured closer, the air crackled with energy, and the arch’s surface rippled like water.

Compelled by an ancient prophecy from their F3 brethren, the warriors stepped through the portal. On the other side, they entered a realm where time flowed differently—a place where past, present, and future converged. The realm was ruled by a small gaggle of IronPAX tyrants who were hell bent on creating a world of suffering and chaos: 800m run, 200 Merkins, 200 Coupon Plank Jacks, 98 Cactus Jump Squats, another 800m run, and various modes of travel in between.

Realizing the gravity of their situation, the warriors took a deep breath followed by a firm exhale, and began their work. With their unmatched strength and an array of coupons given to them by the portal’s guardian, they began their quest. Their mission was to lay some bricks, murder some bunnies, and speak with Lieutenant Dan. Unfortunately, they were unable to meet the wise mystic, Forrest Gump. Apparently he got to the end of Oldham County and “just kept running.”

Each warrior had a unique role: One Star, the strategist, devised plans; DeVitto, the healer, mended wounds; Dauber, the diplomat, forged alliances; and Audible, Sportsdrome, Little Jerry, and Double Down used their combat prowess and wisdom to complete the mission, as they Marched to the Arch, subtly thwarting the IronPAX Week 2 machinations.

The warriors, their task complete, returned to the Gateway Arch. They stepped back through the portal, finding themselves once again in Pewee Valley, their mission a success. The gloom dissipated, and the artifacts vanished, leaving behind only the faintest traces of its otherworldly energy.

Back in their quiet town, the warriors resumed their lives, their extraordinary journey a secret shared only among themselves, and 7 excessively envious SterlingPAX upstarts. The legend of their adventure became one more story in the rich tapestry of their heritage, a tale of how seven ancient heroes once altered the course of history to create a better world, one HIM and one FNG at a time.
