Today is World COPD Day. Awareness that we need to take care of our body and our lungs.
You ever have that moment in your life when you kind of have a plan that seems right and thats what your gonna do, but then life and or your body kind of throws you a curveball and you can only do what you can do. Todays workout was intended to push those limits, and yeah that happened. We have to remember to bravely modify to the need, challenge ourselves to get the most out of ourselves, and lead on.
We ran down hearbreak hill (1/4mi), did some core: american hammers, jumpsquats, and mountain climbers. Ran to the library via the walk path (1/4mi) core: jumpsquats, american hammers. Then we did a push in paired groups where 2 persons do: jumpsquats, ice skaters, merkins, ?, manatees, lbcs, and a push was run the outter parkinglot perimeter. Thang2 was a time filler, we circled up and did 3 sets of 10 of: jump squats, american hammers, bboys, and?. Time caught up we ran back to hearbreak hill base (1/4mi) core: american hammers, jumpsquats. Ran hearbreak hill as an indian run (attempted) met at pavilion, core: american hammers, jumpsquats, flutterkicks (recovered by a pax). Return to flag, squat holds 1min, plank 1min.
Written out it seems so easy. Embarrassingly I had to remove a few elements planned for myself (all core sets were supposed to include mountain climbers and speed skaters), and others also had to modify not able to complete the intended plan for today. Keep pushing men! Remember to modify as necessary! We get stronger together! Thanks for all the encouragement today. – Honeycomb
