Running Q’s are typically not well attended, which is why I make sure to PB them – they aren’t everyone’s drink of choice. I was super-pleased to see Viking and One Star, both better runners than me, in the icy gloom. We ran to the usual AO spot to make sure we didn’t miss anyone, then back to the parking garage where the main thang was just one thang – continuous, self-inflicted suffering.
4 level parking garage, with 2 turns per level. We ran up a half level, came down, did 20 squats, then did the whole level, rinse and repeat. A total of 8 runs working our way all the way to the top. Each sprint gets longer, which adds to the mental effort. One Star pulled away around halfway through, but I think we all suffered equally. We got the whole garage done in just a few seconds of overtime.
I don’t always Q Pleasantville, but when I do, this workout is my drink of choice.
