Q – Bean Counter
PAX (17 total) – Fall Guy (respect), Ex-Lax, Red Roof, WHAM!, Butcher, Scratch, Double Down (respect), Gillispie, Trump!!!, Goodman, Abacus, Little Jerry (respect), Stormtrooper, Vincent (respect), Bartman, and Diablo
The PAX settled in on a brisk 35 degree Tues morning. We scrapped the usual light jog and took the short walkway to the tennis courts.
We also skipped warm-ups. PAX partnered up.
Thang 1: Partner 1 began merkins. Partner 2 ran a four court suicide and returned to swap with partner 1. Rinse & repeat until each partnership did 300 merkins total. Shout out to Vincent who dusted off 74 merkins on the first rotation. That guy is not human.
PAX moseyed over to the Coupon Station.
Thang 2: Partner 1 began coupon curls. Partner 2 ran end line to end line with high knees & returned to swap with partner. Rinse & repeat until each partnership did 200 coupon curls.
Thang 3: Partner 1 began overhead presses with coupon. Partner 2 backpedaled end line to end line & returned to swap with partner. Rinse & repeat until each partnership did 100 overhead presses.
Thang 4: Each partnership did alternating burpees for a total of 24 per group.
Thang 5: Each partnership assumed the plank position & stayed in same position while alternating merkins until each group finished 40 merkins (& a whole lot of plank).
Thang 6: Captain Thor — PAX circled up for a 1/4 ratio exercise. 1 big boy sit-up to 4 American Hammers. PAX made it to 7/28.
Mary – PAX stayed circled up for a round of “Name Your Own Mary” in reps of 15. The final math was 16 x 15 = 240 reps.
Coupons were returned & jogged back to the flag for the finale. No FNGs. Count off & Name O Rama ensued. We thanked the Sky Q for what we have and challenged each other to find something more important this week to be thankful for than the Cards/Cats or your IPhone. Appreciated the chance to Q. Looking forward to the next one.
