Hey there Louisville Pax. I’m asking you to set up Twitter with your F3 name today.
I know you hate social media (except that I know you’re on it scoping someone’s FB right now, or maybe flipping thru the ‘Gram looking at the freshies from Saturday), and I know some AOs have their own internal comz (cough, cough Posh/Mutt).
But Twitter is worth your time.
First, it’s hilarious/inspirational/helpful. There are some really funny guys in F3Nation. There are some guys who say some inspirational stuff. And some guys post some really helpful information. You may find a great workout, or some rucking information, or see what’s going on elsewhere in the Nation. It’s a big, fun place. I’ve met a ton of folks through Twitter and they’ve become friends. Not just social media friends, but actual friends. Like Colonel from Toledo or Banjo from Carpex. Oh and you can keep it F3 only. Just don’t follow Trump if you don’t want to. But follow F3 Louisville Trump. He’s great.
It’s fast and efficient. Let’s face it Facebook blows and while we all love the website, it’s sometimes great to get a quick note out. Twitter is your outlet! 240 characters, .gifs and endless topics, allow you to notify folks of going on. And you can set it so you get notified when someone you really enjoy tweets (like @F3Louisville).
It’s one-stop comz. Think of a world where you have all your messages by group or subgroup a AND a way to communicate with the entire F3 Nation! That’s Twitter. DMs take the place of the Wire or WhatsApp or even texts. DMs can be AO specific, activity specific (eg Rucking) or direct with one person. You can communicate in .gif. And because you can make your handle your F3 name, it’s effectively anonymous.
Do yourself a favor and set it up. Have I been wrong about any of this yet? Well, ok, maybe the coupon run to Big Rock was wrong, but it was also worth it.
So, go set up Twitter. Do it.
