Well, I didn’t plan for the weather overnight, so the road conditions pushed me behind. Red Roof was the HIM we all know he is and got everything started.

When I arrived, sliding into the parking spot, I saw 3 figures on the picnic table next to the bathrooms. Well, I thought, 3 is solid for this weather. As I got closer, more came from wall sits to the left of the bathroom. This was gonna be fun. Good things come to those who wait, right?
The Thang
Well, YHC audibled a couple of times between last night and this morning. But I did have one item that I knew I could use. I had a virtual Deck of cards in my phone (next time I’ll bring a real deck). Each suit is an exercise with the amount of reps determined by the number. Face cards were 11 and an Ace was 12.
Spade = Squats
Hearts = Merkins
Clubs= LBCs
Diamonds= Burpees
I was asked if we were going to use the entire deck, and the answer was and emphatic Yes. The first few cards were clubs, so we got used to the cold snow very quickly. PK felt my pain with the snow burning off those tramp stamps. As OJ counted the cards, and this is frowned upon, he correctly predicted a wave of Hearts. Gotta be honest, any run of suited face cards was terrible. And it happened… with diamonds. It all added up to 91 of each exercise. It felt like a bad beat, but we all realized that we won in the end.
We finished off the day with some altered Lt Dan’s. 1:4 Squats to Lunge walk across the field towards the flag. We ended up at 8:32 when time was called.
NOR, COR, COT
We forgot to call the 6, but intentions were stated and announcements about coffeeteria, Guest Q week and CIs Q at Posh tomorrow. YHC thanked the Pax for improvising the start. YHC is impacted everyday by the show of support and the commitment to this group.
