Leading up to the August Ruck Event (Friday 8.23.19) Huggies & I would like to incorporate a 3ndF component: a school supplies campaign. We have multiple PAX within the Region who are teachers or work with JCPS (Mr. Hat, Mr. Kotter, Harbaugh, Retainer, & more…apologies to anyone I left out) & I’m sure they can all attest to the need for the kids of all ages within the city. We’ve specifically identified Kerrick Elementary (3 classes consisting of 25 students in each) as the primary beneficiary of the donations.
Huggies & myself are both putting two kids through Catholic School (as I know many of you are as well) so we’re fully aware of the accompanying costs associated with going back to school. While I don’t know anyone’s financial situation, I do know many of us are likely more fortunate than many of the kids this campaign will benefit. We’re going to kick this off during Back to Q School Week (begins next Monday 8.5.19) & will collect supplies, off the list below, all the way up until the Ruck begins on the night of Friday 8.23.19.

- Folders (with pockets)
- Markers (preferably washable)
- Tissues
- Ziploc Baggies
- Notecards (lined)
- Crayons
- Colored Pencils
- Pencil Pouches
- Loose Leaf Paper
- Scissors
Since joining F3Louisville I’ve seen this group of men do countless incredible things to benefit those in need. I have no doubt this will be any different.
