I was drinkin’ when I wrote this, forgive if it goes astray.
Man, I was excited for this one. Not just from the flow of the Q juice, but my nephew was coming out as an FNG. The embarrassing stories abound, I was ready to come up with a name. I had plenty of them. EZ-Go, Swag Wagon, the list goes on. My time would come…
We started off with some SSH’s, short mosey to the coupons, and some stretching before we grab our coupons and made our way towards the stone seating at the small ball field for Thang 1.
Thang 1:
3 rounds of the following with 30 seconds of rest in between.
- Step up with coupon into a shoulder press.
- Reverse lunge with a bicep curl.
- Mountain climbers with a merkin mixed in to every 4 climbers.
Now, I couldn’t make out who was who in the gloom. I could see Cutlass as he we 3 feet away and tall in stature, but that’s about it. I could, however, hear the unmistakable voice of Kilo talking to my Nephew… about Joop cologne? Anyway, on to thang 2.
Thang 2:
Being as it was we were running a bit behind on time, I had to cut this part a little short. So, we partnered up and did the following…
- Hill Sprints
- Squat Jumps
- Lunge Jumps
Thang 3:
We returned the coupons to their home in left field and made our way back to the monument for some Mary. We got about 10 PAX deep until we had to stop due to time.
COT: We counted off, did a quick name-o-rama, and gave some thanks and praise. In between there we named our FNG’s. Yes, we had two FNG’s. I knew about my nephew or, Aqua Di Gio… and Kilo was on that one before I had a chance to name him. But we had another one sneak in under the radar and didn’t surface until he didn’t quite know what to do during name-o-rama. Apparently he “heard” about F3, checked it out online, and came out… welcome Wiki. This one was great. 2 FNG’s… one being my nephew, great PAX, nice weather, Tony Malito was there, Ladybird’s dog (FND?) named Emma made an appearance, and Kilo even forgot how old he is.
What an awesome way to start the day.
