The aim for Beastmode yesterday was to give the PAX a taste of what the IronPAX workouts will be like and to also help prepare for the challenge coming our way. We had 10 PAX total and 7 were signed up for the challenge.

The workout was simple:
50 squats/40 Big Boys/30 Bonnie Blairs/20 Merkins/10 Burpees/Run down the hill to Shelbyville and Back – Repeat x 4 for time or 25 minutes whichever came first.
This was almost an exact repeat of Week 1 of the IronPAX challenge from last year. The only difference is the run was almost twice as long and included a big hill.
After we wrapped up Thang 1 we moved on to the next round which was taken from Week 2.
8 mins AMRAP of ManMakers with a 25yd run out and back in between each set of 10. So, do 10 MM’s run out 25yds and back 25yds, do another 10 MM’s run out 25yds etc.
This took right up to 6:15. We returned the coupons and circled up.

I ended with a challenge aimed around Purposeful Recognition. I encouraged the PAX to publicly recognize a positive about a family member or co-worker.
