Mosey to begin Routine.

Billy Madison Routine:

The goal of the Billy Madison Routine is to graduate from 12 “grades” of exercises. PAX performs 1st Grade Exercise (AIR Drama – squats with calf raises) 12x, then run a lap around the baseball field. Next set, PAX performs another 12 AIR Dramas, then the 2nd Grade exercise, Copperhead Dips. After each grade the PAX then runs another lap and repeats grades 1 and 2, then adds 3rd grade exercise. Continue until the PAX graduates from 12th grade together.

  • Here were the Grade Levels:
    • 1st: AIR Drama (Legs)
      2nd: Copperhead Dips (Triceps)
      3rd: Big Boys (core)
      4th: Copperhead Wide Merkins (back and shoulders)
      5th: Ballerina Toe Squats (legs)
      6th: Swimmers (back)
      7th: Dying Cockroach (core)
      8th: Suzanne Somers (legs)
      9th: Derkins (shoulders and chest)
      10th: Box Cutters (core)
      11th: Jumping Spider Merkins (chest)
      12th: Burpees

    Although the PAX did an incredible job, we were only able to complete 9th grade. With that said, my watch had recorded a run of more than 2.5 miles and a total of:

    • 108 AIR Dramas
    • 96 Dips
    • 84 Big Boys
    • 72 Wide Merkins
    • 60 Ballerina Toe Squats
    • 48 Swimmers
    • 36 Dying Cockroaches
    • 24 Suzanne Somers
    • 12 Derkins

    For the hard work, each HIM received a package of fun dip, and I will hold on to this Weinke for another Q because I know we can graduate 12th grade!
