The idea behind Ghost Q Week is to post & not have any idea who the Q is (I know for some PAX this is their norm because they don’t the calendar). In preparation for this morning, I got to The O at about 0510 to set up for the WO…not because it took me 20 minutes to set up, but because I didn’t want anyone to see me. Within 5 minutes placed cones & lights throughout the tennis court for the WO (the lights were off as to not give it away). I then hopped in my car & drove to the other side of the tennis courts, parked, hung out for 10-12 minutes, & drove back to the meeting area to get out of my car at 0527 in an attempt to not be identified as the Q. Kilo was present so there was a lot of mumblechatter up till 0530 when there started to be speculation the Ghost Q had well…ghosted the WO. At this point, I stepped out, introduced myself & gave the disclaimer (I am not a professional, I’ve received no training, & everything I say it a suggestion so please modify as needed by listening to your body).
With that, we were off on a mosey around the end loop & over to the tennis courts for CoP.

With everyone’s heart rate up it was time to get to work. I asked half of the PAX to please go grab a coupon & bring it to the entrance of the next court. While they were doing this I ran around the court turning on the lights for The Thang.
THE THANG – 4 CORNERS
Each corner had a sign with an exercise listed & underneath the exercise, each sign had this:
Each letter of “GHOST Q” represented a round & the number was the correlating number of reps assigned to each round. I asked the PAX if they knew where the numbers came from or represented to which someone quickly identified it was their correlating number within the alphabet. Tclaps 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We went through the exercises in each corner & what a round would look like:
- 7 coupon curls to shoulder press
- run halfway down the long side
- 1 burpee
- run the other half off of the long side to the corner
- 7 groiners
- bear crawl halfway down the short side
- 2 burpees
- run the other half off of the short side to the corner
- 7 hand-release merkins
- run halfway down the long side
- 3 burpees
- run the other half off of the long side to the corner
- 7 jump squats
- bear crawl halfway down the short side
- 4 burpees
- run the other half off of the short side to the corner
At this point, you moved on to the next letter & it’s correlating number of reps all the way through Q. The only thing that changed throughout the WO was the number of reps performed of the exercises in the 4 Corners. Any PAX who got through GHOST Q before time was called were instructed to go to the middle of the tennis courts for this Mary work on rinse & repeat mode.
At 0608 several PAX were started on the Mary & I along with half of the group returned the coupons before joining for Mary.

We did one cycle of all the exercises on the board above IC…after the straight leg throw downs it was 0615 & we headed back to the flag for CoT.

I challenged the PAX at the WO & I’ll challenge all 3 of the PAX who read this BB to take 2 minutes today to do one thing: think about how blessed you are in so many different ways. Whether I’m Qing 5 guys or 50 guys, known Q or Ghost Q it’s always a humbling experience to get to lead the men of this group for any portion of their day.
