F3 hit me at the right time. I jumped in; all in. I drank the kool-aid. Hell, I was the kool-aid man for a while, nearly busting down walls to find the next guy who needed F3.
I’ve been doing this for nearly two and a half years. I’ve done a few things considered “leadership”, which is really just making sure things get done that need to get done. Then, around the first of this year, I took over the nantan role from Red Roof. I’ll be real honest on this one, I do not enjoy this role. But, I’ve done it to the best of my ability.
Yet, recently I’ve realized that I cannot do this role well any longer. In fact, we need a change.
When we first started F3 Louisville, we did everything our own way. This included having a council of 4 people making the decisions of the “nantan”. We were told by F3 Nation that this would not work and was a bad idea. That was wrong. We moved away from this when I stepped in for Red Roof. That was wrong. After doing both methods, I can say, the way we did it to start was far superior.
So, effective immediately, I’m stepping away from F3 leadership and appointing a new council. I’ve spoke with them and they’re all in. I’ve told them my limited input. And now it’s time for change. And change is good.
Break a leg, Catfish, Diablo, Kilo and Nino. Can’t wait to see where this goes from here.
