Part 1 of 2 at the Peggy Baker December to remember with Backflop.
Pax – Bulletin (R), Captain Crunchberry, Cochran, Meter Maid, Backflop (Q)
Well, like I said, I brought the lights…and the full body beat down. We found out just who was naughty or nice. And to that point which of the PAX would be getting coal in their stocking this year at Christmas. I’m not gonna name names, but it seemed like we had quite a few naughty HIMs that showed up to PB, which meant a lot of burpees. While it was tough, we worked as a team to get it done!
Mosey around the new path at PB for a warm up lap
COR – 30 SSH IC, 10 Grass Grabbers IC, 10 Toy Soldiers IC, Downward dog/running stretches OYO, 10 Merkins, and quad stretches to complete the warm up exercises.
The THANG!
2 sets of 4 x Lights were setup about 100 yards apart. The PAX were asked to pick a piece of paper out of a Santa hat labeled either naughty or nice.
If the PAX plucked a naughty label, that meant 10 BOYOS and if the PAX picked a nice label, it would be 10 reps of either Merkins, Jump lunges (4 count/rep), big boys, or squats. We rotated through the 4 exercises several times.
Let’s just say there were ~120-130 BOYOS throughout the WO, but I lost count.
Once each set of 10 reps (whether naughty or nice was drawn) was completed at the first station, the PAX were instructed to run to the second station to draw the next tag. Then do the exercise and then run back to the first station. Back and forth and back and forth…you get the point.
We wrapped up with 5 min left to do some mary.
Mary – 10 more BOYOS, 15 pickle pounders, 15 Merkins, 15 flutter kicks, 20 squats
COT – thanked the PAX for supporting my Q, praised Bulletin for being a true HIM, and asked Pax to remember others that are going through a rough time this holiday season. Ended with an Our Father.
See y’all next week for part 2 at the December to remember @ Peggy Baker on 12/24.
Be there! Backflop
