PAX – Bulletin (R), Pelican, Cochran, LePew, Captain Crunchberry, Backflop -Q
It was for sure a December to remember! Everyone was in a good mood, it was Christmas Eve, and the mumble chatter was ramping up. The PAX looked out our over the 12 days/lights of Christmas like a child looking over their presents on Christmas morning. I told the PAX that if they made it through the WO, Santa Backflop will be bearing gifts. And thats just what we did.
Mosey around park loop.
COR – 40 SSH IC, 10 GG IC, 10 Toy Soldiers IC, Downward dog/running stretches, 10 Merkins, Butterfly stretches, quad stretches
The THANG –
12 lights were lined up in a row representing the 12 days of Christmas. I instructed the PAX to complete 1 rep of each exercise based on which day of Christmas it was. For example –
Merkins –
Day 1 – 1 rep
Day 2 – 2 reps
Day 3 – 3 reps
So on and so forth. The PAX ran from one station to the next and when the 12th station/day was completed, each PAX would run back to the first station (day #1) and start a new exercise in the same format.
We did, 78 Merkins, 78 Squats, 156 Jump lunges, 78 Big boys, and 12 Burpees
We circled back up for some Mary –
LePew put us through flutter kick hell with 71ish flutter kicks IC, then followed by 20 pickle pounders by yours truly. Another HIM snuck in another exercise, but I’ve forgotten by now what it was.
We brought all the lights back to the flag for some COR, NOR, & COT
COT – praying for Cochran’s family as he lost his uncle this past week, and he mentioned a friend that lost their 2 month old baby so please keep in your prayers.
I thought it was fitting being that it was Christmas Eve to read the TRUE Christmas story from the Bible (Luke 2: 1-20). As I read this story, I couldn’t help to think of how grateful I am for such a great group of friends in F3. For material gifts, trees, lights, and “things” are all temporary in this life. Friendships last a lifetime. The love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, lasts forever.
Merry Christmas! Backflop
