Back-Blast – The Extender at The Mutt – 1.9.20

According to Glen Ross, today’s workout was a high 7. Initially, I thought to myself, “what a low score!”. However, after clarification from several Mutt veterans, I was assured that a high 7 was respectable and that meant Glen Ross was happy with how it went. Knowing that I passed the “test” I enjoyed the ride home and now have some insight on what to hone in on at future Mutt Q’s.

We had 14 PAX in attendance:

Zima

Milton

Sump Pump

Glen Ross

Deuce

PED

Partner up – Thang One:

P1 starts to Bernie Sanders around parking lot, P2 completes 5 burpees and then runs to catch P1. P2 picks up Bernie Sanders and P1 completes 5 burpees and then runs to catch P2. We completed 4 laps of this.

Thang Two:

Coupon Dora

Run was 50-60 yds out and back

100 Curls

100 Seated Shoulder Press

100 Sadies – modified manmaker – think groiner with a coupon then do a merkin and a row before jumping back

We amped up the run to out and back x2 for the squat round – this was the high intensity part coming off the Sadies

200 – Squats

100 Big Bois

25 Flutter Kicks IC

20 Pickle Pounders IC

20 JLO’s IC

15 Side Plank Hip Drops – each side

25 Gas Pumps IC

Lay flat and stretch arms, legs and torso

COT – announcements – Iron Horse, Awards Banquet, January Ruck, Sleeping Bags for Wayside – several intentions today

I don’t always get to The Mutt but when I do I usually Q and I usually get a high 7. Thanks fellas for having me this morning. Looking forward to the next one.
