Whitney, MeterMaid, Dauber, Tool Time, Porkchop, Snowman, Flounder (Q), and eventually… Worm
4:56 came and went as 7 pax waited on our directionally challenged friend Worm. We stood in 28 degree 15 mph wind wondering if he’d ever show. We sent locator pins, called, shot flares and sent a rescue helicopter. As frost bite set in we took a short loop just to warm up, yep, still waiting.
Worm was a bit grumpy this morning, and I completely understand. I mean, UL beat Duke and UK lost to duke in in 1992 so there’s that. Then Calipari got ejected. Must have been a traumatic day for UK fans.
I did some decent recon yesterday and there is a lot there– paved as well as I paved trails, playground Sprayground, amphitheater, kayak launch.
Pax were really confused as we veered off the pavement. Walking on a cleared path in the woods is a real thing. Complaints were really poshhy but soon we heard the story. The story of the strange person alone in the woods, standing next to a tree with a rubber Matt duct taped to it and with 5 hockey gloves at 5am. Pretty weird. We did some rucking too!
