This was my first Q at the Mutt and only my second post here. I want to say thank you to the great HIM’s of the mutt for the warm welcome and keeping the World Famous Mutt Mumble Chatter going! I was unaware when I decided to Q at the mutt, getting the PAX hands wet was looked down upon. Sorry, Not Sorry!
PAX (17): Deuce, Jitterbug, Backdraft, PED, Plumb Bob, Loco, Blueprint, Glen Ross, Tiger, Left Eye, Buzzsaw, Fridge, Blossom (FNG), Ripple, Wham-O, Sump Pump, Stick Up (Q).
Warm Up: 25 SSH (IC), 15 Grass Grabbers (IC), 20 SSH (IC), 20 Imperial Walkers (IC), Downward Dog Calf Stretch, R/L Runner Stretch, Mosey to the parking entrance on Cherrywood.
Thang: The idea behind the beat-down was set up similar to Gassers. From the starting point run to cone one, then back. Run to cone two then back, etc. The difference today was we performed an exercise at each cone before proceeding. This was both on the way out and the way back to the starting point. Every time the PAX reached a set of cones, the prescribe exercise was performed as follows:
Starting Line: 5 SSH (IC)
Cone 1: 10 BOYO’s
Cone 2: 15 Lunges (each leg)
Cone 3: 20 Merkins
Cone 4: 25 Squats
Cone 5: 30 Peter Parkers
If a HIM completed all 5 cones before time was called, they were instructed to start working their way back down the pyramid. If the entire thang was completed it equated to 25 SSH (IC), 90 Burpees, 105 Lunges, 100 Merkins, 75 Squats, 30 Peter Parkers with a good does of running in between. This does not count the extra credit some of the HIM’s were able to complete before time was called.
With 7 minutes remaining we converged under cover for Mary(based on the complaining of wet hands, I couldn’t imagine asking the PAX to get down on their six on the wet pavement!)
20(IC) each of LBC’s, Gas Pumps, Flutter Kicks, Pickle Pounders. With 2 minutes left we moseyed back to the flags.
