It’s been a busy week, but last night I finally found time to sketch out my weinke. Sketchy Weinke, heh heh. Love this location, and I know a lot of our boys put a lot of work into getting this spot rollin. I thought I had a good one put together for the typical 8 to 10 PAX that post on Friday morning. I pulled up, jumped out of the whip, and counted about 20 cars. Sweet! Let’s get it on.

Disclaimer given, watch your form, modify as needed, and off we go. Mosey away from the amphitheater, down the hill, and back along Lake Titicaca. Stop at the amphitheater for quick COP. SSH, copperhead squat, tempo Merkin, downward dog and runner stretch. Off we go again to the school. Circle up for round 2 of COP. SSH, copperhead squat, tempo Merkin, dog and runner.
Thang 1: P1 completes 100 squat jumps, 100 four-count SSH, 100 four-count squats. P2 runs across the lot, bear crawl halfway back, crawl bear the rest of the way. This was awful and awesome and dumb all at the same time. Took significantly longer than I expected, I will learn from this miscalculation, modified to P2 runs across the lot, runs halfway back, bear crawl the rest of the way. Everyone got in one round of that nonsense before I modified tho. Mosey back to the amphitheater.
Thang 2: Burpee ladder up those beautiful steps. One Burpee at the bottom, step up and 2 Burpee’s, step up and 3 Burpee’s, all the way to 9. Then you have to come back down the ladder! Eight, seven, six, etc. The monsters that finished early started some Mary under the amphitheater. The rest of us slugs finished and joined in. I seem to recall straight leg hold, Pfifer kicks, and Freddie mercury’s. We finished with the gift that keeps on giving, straight from the Mutt. 10 Catalina wine makers. Time. Got in 2 miles and 81 burpees if you wanna brag to your M as you crush beers at the fish fry tonight.
