Really was a beautiful morning in Pleasantville, not a cloud in the sky as nobly decreed by @Holy Roller. As the Neighborhood continues to develop more possibilities exist to offer a great beatdown to the PAX. Coming Soon……Multi Level Parking Garage! Get Pleasantville on your monthly Friday rotation…….pretty please. Here’s what we did:
PAX- Jitterbug (QIC), Holy Roller (R), Yankovic (R), Heimlich, Edward Scissorhands, Jimmy Neutron, Tammy Faye Baker, Fungi
COP- Mosey around the Park to the Front of the School by Playground. SSH, Grassgrabbers, Toy Soldiers, Kendra Newmans, Stretching, Merkins and Squats to get warmed up.
Thang 1- PAX lined up at end of front lot in from of school. 2 exercises: First do 6 Carolina Dry Docks, Bernie Sanders to other end, do 20 Squats, Sprint back to start. Each time add 1 additional CDD; round 2 then was 7 and then 20 Squats; rinse and repeat up to 10 CDD. Little more winded after that one than I thought I would be.
Thang 2- Mosey a few blocks to the Fountain Area behind the Post office. This is one of the newer features Wisteria has to offer. PAX lined up along a short wall. Set was to Complete 10 Derkins, 15 Dips, 20 Single Count Step Ups on the Wall, then Bear Crawl around the Fountain back to the start. Rinse and Repeat for 3 Sets
Thang 3- Mosey back towards the Start and down the Hill to the Pavilion. Had Pax Circle up. Holy Roller was present but no coupons, what to do? Body Builders! Had Pax Complete a lower body exercise and then follow Immediately with 5 Manmakers. Exercises included: 20 Single Count High Knees, 20 Butt Kicks, 20 Single Count Jump Lunges, 10 Bobby Hurleys, all followed by 5 Manmakers.
Mary, COR, NOR, COT. It is such an honor to lead, and it is never clearer to me the importance of this group than when I have the Q. We discussed Specific Intentions for loved ones of Holy Roller and Tammy Faye, and of course our silent intensions. We remain in an uncertain time, and I am grateful to have this group to lean on. In our World, Our Country, and our local community we remain divided; and I have to catch myself when I inevitably am drawn into discussions, political, social and otherwise to remember that there is more to Unite us than to Divide. In short, If Im lucky the little voice in the back of my head says to me….”You are F3, act like it” Jitterbug Out.
