Bromance was in in the air as Big Bird and I joined forces for another life-changing Q to celebrate our commitment to one another. We donned matching tuxedo t-shirts (because we’re formal, but like to party) to keep it classy for our anniversary. Read on for the tea:

THANG ONE:
Elevens with jump squats and merkins. Get low on those jump squats so you can remember them later.
THANG TWO:
Bird introduced us to a double helix pentagram-based workout. It was a simple concept that everyone captured immediately. But for those who weren’t there, we divided into groups at the points of the star. Complete the point-specific exercise, travel clockwise to the vertex, intimately complete the vertex-mandated exercise of five burpees near fellow PAX, reverse travel pursuant to the directives until reaching the next star point [for any newbies, Bird was using standard star-based geometry of (xk,yk)=(cos2π∗kn,sin2π∗kn) to keep the travel distances consistent], then proceeding to the next exercise as described at the subsequent star point, followed by echo-relocation to the center via the same travel that brought you to that point, five more burpees, and rinse, and repeat. Journey was the soundtrack for the entirety of this odyssey. Thang 2 should be mandatory for every F3 workout.
We completed the star-based tribute to Micah Parsons & Co. (how bout them Cowboys?!) by supernovaing another mosey. Jack Webb for old time’s sake (at this point the tuxedo t-shirts started to seem a little more messed up) before going to tried and true Mary to keep that core right.
COT: Great turnout! And everyone who hung around got to have cake to celebrate six years since Abacus dragged Bird and I out to the Parklands for the Little Jerry Q that started it all for us. We’re both grateful for the memories F3 has provided over the past six years, and I’m even grateful for at least four of you all out there. Mwah!
