Beautiful morning at the Patriot where 20 pax took on a revised version of an older ‘Capture the Flag’ Q we attempted earlier in the summer. Last one didn’t go as close to plan from an execution standpoint, but this morning felt like it had good rhythm, teamwork & design. Only regret is I forgot to turn the speaker up after CoP.
THE THANG
20 pax were split into two groups (team 1 and team 2)
Each team had a cup with 12 workouts written on paper with various workouts & travel + workout as follows:
25 T-Merkins
50 Shoulder Press
20 Man Makers
50 Bent Over Row
1 lap around Springs Park Circle
50 Merkins at Ernestos
50 Squats at the Skate Park
25 Caroline Dry Docks at City Place
25 Big Boys at Dough Baby
50 Curls
10 Pullups @ Spring Park
Rifle Carry to Spring Park Swings
During the ‘capture the flag’ event – each team had to carry an F3 flag with the rule that the flag CANNOT touch the ground at any point.
If your team was able to get through all 12 workouts, you could start to steal completed workouts from the other team.
Each team was able to get through entire workout + steal 2-3, in the end, team 1 barely squeaked out a victory.
In CoT, I offered prayers for a college roommate who is struggling with addiction and mental health. It’s important to remember that there are people out there struggling and having neglected this relationship for so long, I feel a sense of remorse/regret that he has gotten this far down a destructive path without any sort of help.
The good thing is, it is never too late as long as there is time left on the clock.
