Conditions: 38*, 86% Humidity, but relatively dry on the ground. Slight breeze, but otherwise nice. Gear (for Zoolander): CI-Uber-tight Smedium F3 Mudgear Shirt, arm sleeves, shorts, lady’s socks, trail shoes, digital camo doorag; Zartan: Mock zipper neck shirt of some type, shorts, capri tights (😏), turquoise socks, Newbies and some kind of winter beanie.

Z and YHC had planned to co-Q — Ace and Gary style — our 💯 Post together, but neither of us can count. Z hit 💯 last week, and I hit it this week. So with no occasion to celebrate, we figured we’d just beat the snot out of the Pax. The plan was to split the Q down the middle, have dueling good time sound machines and see how it went. Nice little Saturday if you ask me. Agree? Tell me after you read went went down:

The Thang 1: Z takes the mic

Charles Bronson Halfpipe: Mosey to the half pipe (for those that don’t know, it’s a “B”; for those that do, you know. If you doubt it, come and see). Z’s good time sound machine was blasting . . . Bon Iver (😳), while CI places his at the other end of the half pipe blaring a mix he made last night after a few mojitos and a couple of beers (read: it was bad). 50 (unless otherwise noted) of each of these separated by a run down and up (and a bear crawl to the end): SSHs, merkins, Burpees (25), LBCs, Jump Squats (25). After hearing the dulcet tones of Bon Iver, it was a shock to hear Demi blaring Sorry Not Sorry, but it kinda felt like an omen. Ya’ll f@ckin’ with some savages. Vincent Larry Bird’d that thang. Talk about a savage. Let’s here it for Gillespie; my man started his F3 journey doing the dumbest thing we’ve ever done, and has kept going. RESPECT

The Thang 2: CI drops the mic

Partner back up for a mosey to the Cul-de-sac of Pain (that what I’m gonna call it now since that’s where Kilo killed a man on Friday). Also, editor’s note: Shannon Cogan — local Louisville Newscaster — lives in the house right at the end of the Cul-de-sac of Pain. Wonder if she’ll come out and do a story on the dudes waking her up every morning. I saw you OJ and Zartan picking up the Six; keeping the pearls on the string. Tclaps!

Z’s good time sound machine up top with … Bon Iver, mine down below with Steppenwolfe, soon to be Beyoncé, then Weezer and all kinds of other awesomeness, for Pax Choice 11s. Mayberry selected Carolina Dry Docks up top, and Face selected gas pumps down below. Let’s do this. Editor’s note: don’t pace these with Vincent (especially after 2 prior Qs and 4 posts). Everyone smoked it. I saw you Tron; that ‘thon training is paying off. Great to see Mayberry out there; dude is a beast. Red Roof kept pounding; there’s a reason he’s the glue that kept us going. But this thang was a real B, too.

When we finished we moseyed over to the tennis courts for some Mary. I really don’t remember it all, but I’ll try. Probably the move of the day was when Z and YHC A&G’d it, but I digress.

Then, lined up on the baseline for an AYG out and back. Zartan was flying. Then, a short rest, and another AYG out, jog (j is silent) back. Then, the finisher…

We did a Pax Choice Mary Webb. The two exercises were Dying Cockroaches (OJ) and Little Baby Flutter Kicks (Face) on a 1:4 ratio scaling up to 10:40. Words can’t do this justice so I’ll just say, it looked like this:

At this point, we were pretty much done, but Trump was there, so Zartan had him close us out with Trump Clap-Squats. And, then we were done. Woof.

COR, NOR, welcome FNG Boozer. Yes, it’s hard the first time, and it doesn’t get easier, but it always gets better (hat tip to Pitino from CLT on that one). Situation called the 6 and showed up his abs. He also added syllables to words that don’t have them cause he’s from Jersey. I kid, I kid. Lots of announcements: 12/9 Convergence Ruck/Q and Lead School/Toy Drive for Uspiritus. Check the website for details. I took us out with some words, reminding everyone how doing something hard makes everything after easy. And we broke to conquer the day.
