So we tossed out the idea this morning at #theblender to try and collect as many coats/ jackets that we could over the next 4 days. This past fall, we did a signifanct fundraising event for the St John Center for homeless men. Well, they need more help and I’m asking F3 Louisville to step up again. But this one will be much easier. All you have to do is go home today, grab that old coat out of your closest and bring it with you to your AO tomorrow or Saturday. Site Q’s will collect and we will deliver on Saturday afternoon. We’ve all seen the old fat photos on Slack over the past several weeks and they are funny to look at, but you know you are not going back, so get rid of that old coat too because someone else desperately needs it. Also, St. John center partners with La Casita Center, which is another local non-profit that helps women and children. So if you have other jackets, they can deliver to them as well. I told the guy earlier today we will be bringing 30 coats- let’s do this.
