Back- Blast – North Posh – Run Mode – 2/25/19

We ran and ran and ran on Monday at North Posh. Since the beginning of the year we have focused the Monday North Posh workouts on running and it seems to be of interest. I hadn’t actually Q’d a “Run Mode” workout so I was excited to get out there and see what kind of cruel punishment I could concoct.

We had 15 PAX in attendance:

Valdez

SweeTART

Abacus

Dunphy

Nice and Slow

Carlton

Frosted Tips

Meter Maid

Viking

Cowboy

Le Pew

Big Bird

Milton

Nino

Catfish(Q)

We ran down to the pit and broke up in to 4 stations:

1st station – Hill Combo – run up the hill out of the pit, take a right and run up the hill on the road across the bridge – AMRAP for 8 minutes – switch stations

2nd station – Bernie Sanders up the hill out of the pit to the road – AMRAP for 8 minutes – switch stations

3rd station – Sprint 50 yds – rinse and repeat – AMRAP for 8 minutes

4th station – Interval run – hard run the length of the parking lot, jog to the other side of the parking lot and hard run down the other side – AMRAP for 8 minutes

After we completed all 4 stations we were all smoked. We then proceeded to run up “beg for forgiveness hill” (named by Abacus) back to the flag.

Always thankful to be out there with this group and fortunate to lead. Looking forward to next time.
