I had mentioned in the Pre-Blast that I had been inspired lately by the increasing difficulty of the workouts so I wanted to make sure I didn’t disappoint. Based on the comments after the workout, I think everyone got their money’s worth. The following 26 PAX braved the downpours and got better:
PorkChop – from the “O”
Valdez
PewPew
Big Bird
Butcher
Pixar
Fungi
Kimble
My Pleasure
Scratch and Dent
Lobsta
Headboard
Fergie
Short Circuit
Gooooaaalll!
Dorothy
Jerry McGuire(R)
Wildflower
Splinter(FNG)
Milton
Green Wave
Eggo(R)
Storm Trooper
Airplane
Giselle
Catfish(Q)
In short, the workout didn’t need to be complex to be difficult. We started with my typical warm up:
1/2 mile mosey
25 x SSH
25 x MC
25 x Plank Jacks
50 Merkins IC
We then partnered up and started the main thang:
Bear Crawl Chasers
Partner 1 begins bear crawling around the loop(3/8 of a mile or so) while Partner 2 hard runs around the same loop until they catch Partner 1. At that point, Partner 2 starts the bear crawl and Partner 1 hard runs around the loop and so on. We completed 2 full laps.
This was challenging.
Thang 2: Circle up for the 10 minute burpee EMOM(credit: Pope) I love this and want to include it every time I Q. It’s good because it’s challenging but also allows for different fitness levels to work together and push each other. It also allows for some mumblechatter(at least for the 1st few rounds).

Again, I’ve been inspired by the Q’s lately. Thank you PAX for getting after it and pushing me to do the same. I feel myself pushing harder and it’s only possible with the framework this group offers.
I appreciate the opportunity to lead.
