Wasn’t sure what to expect this morning. I was competing against Bob Ross at North, who would pull the usual Poshies, and Diablo at Vets, who would pull everyone else. To my surprise, 16 new and veteran Poshies showed up this morning.
If you don’t read anymore, know this: we had a few 6’s today. New guys just starting out with some ridiculous exercises. But everyone of us was cheering and pushing every 6. That as much as anything is what this group is about.
PAX: Wooo, Ladybird, Franz, My Pleasure, Sandtrap, Skirmish, Jitterbug, Dynomite, Ashley, Red Card, Scratch-N-Dent, Deep Dish, Wapner, Airball, FNG, Retainer (QIC).
Quick mosey through a few out-of-the-way parking lots, and circled for COP. 30 SSH’s, 20 IW’s, 20 GG’s, 2 minutes of runner stretches.
Thang 1: Burpee Name-O-Rama. Shout your name, everyone shouts it back, and everyone does a burpee.
Thang 2: Mosey past the waterpark to the ledge. Run a Dora, with partner 1 working on 80 box jumps, 80 dips, 80 derkins. Partner 2 runs a lap.
Thang 3: Mosey to coupons, 1 brick per partner group. Partner 1 bear crawls for 10-20 movements while partner 2 holds a coupon on 1’s shoulders. Rinse and repeat until a full lap is complete.
Thang 4: Partner coupon work. Take turns doing 10 merkins while partner holds coupon on your shoulders.
Return coupons, mosey to flag, and plank during a song for three minutes while doing a burpee on key words.
