On the St. Al’s Slack Channel Dauber posted his story of accomplishing the IronPax Challenge despite his mind telling him before and during that he couldn’t do it. His story is one of perseverance, discipline, and breaking big tasks into smaller manageable tasks. Over the last 2 years, I’ve learned that lesson time after time thanks to F3. I understood it to a degree before hand, but I witness it every week from a new PAX or myself depending on the day.
YHC desired a tough workout to mark the 2 year anniversary of my first post. Here goes.
PAX: Cratchet, Jerry McGuire (R), Crockpot, Scratch-N-Dent, Alexa, Airplane, Iceman (R), Fructose, Valdez, and Abacus (Q)
COP – mosey to front lot…Q failed to give disclaimer. Shout out to Crockpot for making sure it was done! Various warm-up exercises including – SSH, Merkins, Big Boy’s, BOYO, Copperhead Squats, Abe Vigoda’s.
THANG 1 – 30 minute AMRAP of: 5 BOYO’s, 10 Big Boy’s, 15 merkins run 90% effort to end of parking lot rinse and repeat. Run back and do it again.
THANG 2 – 5 minutes of yoga cool down.
COT – Gave thanks for positive outcomes with Alexa’s dad and Big Bird’s mother in law. Let’s be the light for someone who needs it. Let these hard things we do make all other things easier!
