A couple of months ago The County was consistently having 20-25+ PAX consistently post at the Loco & the Agony so needless to say it was time for some starfish. We began looking at sites to primarily accommodate The County PAX & Peggy Baker Park was deemed one of those locations. I’d been to the park a couple times during the day scouting out the terrain, but this morning was my first time posting & being there in the dark. Overall, I think this place has a lot of potential to be an AO…it’s a public space with a 1/3 mile paved loop (it’s the blue line on the phone, Google hasn’t updated their picture since it was done), basketball court, (6) baseball fields, flat grass areas, & plenty of pavement with countless parking spots. I went through a few of the BB to see what had recently been done at the BlackOps in an effort to do something different, here’s what I came up with…

I gave the disclaimer to the PAX & we were off on a mosey away from the meeting point at the parking by the shelter up towards the baseball fields stopping for CoP.

We then moseyed up the trail between two of the baseball fields to the center of the baseball field complex for The Thang.
THE THANG
This area is one of the more well lit places, has pavement, & a lot of these benches that can easily be moved (which I did). I lined up 4-5 of the benches as a baseline for Partner 1 to do:

Baseline: (5) Jump Ups
- Lunge Walk to Cone 1 (15 yards away)
Cone 1: (5) Burpees
- Run back to Baseline
Baseline: (5) Merkin-Derkins
- Bear Crawl to Cone 2 (30 yards away)
Cone 2 : (10) Groiners
- Run back to Baseline
Baseline: (10) Dips
- SPRINT to Cone 3 (40 yards away)
Cone 3 : (10) Merkin Jacks
- Run back to Baseline
AMRAP until Partner 2 gets back from run & switch.
Partner 2
Runs the 1/4 loop around the fields
- Prisoner Run down left field fence to outfield to back parking lot that lines outfield
- Bernie Sanders to Marker 1
- Karaoke facing field to Marker 2
- Karaoke facing away from field to Marker 3
- Bernie Sanders to Marker 4
- Prisoner Run up the right field fence towards area behind home plate
Each PAX did five rounds around the field before time was called & we moved the benches back, picked up cones, etc. From there we did a Native American going down the side of the left field fence & around the outfield back to the meeting point for some Mary. The PAX at the end did 1 Burpee before sprinting back up to the front.

I took it to the SkyQ to close things out. I encourage all of the PAX of F3Louisville to get out & post at other AOs to see new sites & meet more PAX…it won’t hurt.
