Today I celebrated 200 F3 Louisville posts. It’s been a crazy journey and one that won’t end soon. 200 is just a stepping stone on the path.
I appreciate OJ and Boozer (retired from F3 😦 ) headlocking me. I remember they were telling me about this F3 thing while we were gathered for a few beers. I’m like “sure I’m in, I’ve done some workout stuff before”. A few hours later they suggested I quit hitting the beers so hard, I was like “It’s all good, I got this…”.
The next morning I show up early, hungover, to find that some guy named Abacus was leading the work out. The following 45 minutes were a blurr of pain and trying not to puke. I think I mentally blocked it out, which ironically still happens when Abacus Q’s. I was sore for days, but with encouragement I didn’t want to quit, now 18 months later I hit 200+. I appreciate all of you pushing me along the way, there are many of you, yes I’m talking about you as well, thanks for continuing to push me. On to 300+
This morning….
After a brief Viking warm up, we loaded the up our Viking ship with tools of destruction (coupons)! Some asked “why are you conquering the home land?”, to that I answered “we are not conquering the home land, but our boarders to the west have been challenged. We need to sail to the next AO (fire house black ops) and take back the land that belongs to the county!” We then sailed to multiple sites in the land of the County and then over to PeWeeValley Fire deparment BO where we unloaded our ship and let the pillage and plundering began (partner based coupon exercises). Once all sites were conquered we sailed home and proceeded with our celebration dance, the Viking toss (medicine ball toss team race). Successfully conquering 2 AO’s in one morning!
What land will the Viking ship conquer next? Find out soon!
