Like a lot of the PAX I’ve been indulging in all the holidays have to offer so I was excited to not drink and eat all day and night and go to bed early for the first in over a week.
Around 2 or 3 AM my 2.0 Cookie Monster came and took my spot in bed and relegated me to her room. All was good until I woke up and realized my phone was down to about 50% battery and I really wanted to hear Vanilla Ice this morning. No fear, 10 minutes of charging while I got ready and 10 more minutes on the way there and I had enough juice for the morning.
Got there and was greeted by 9 other PAX-Jolly Rancher, Jitterbug, Leprechan, Grizzly, Captain Crunchberry, Airplane, Backflop, Wildflower, Alexa, and me-Pelican (Q). We did a short mosey to the amphitheater and did COP-

The THANG-
A couple weeks ago I Q’ed the firehouse and immediately thought that weinke would work well at the amphitheater at Pleasantville so I asked Jolly to put me on the calendar. We started with 20 merkins at the bottom, box jumps up the steps to the top and did 20 big bois up there. Made your way back to the bottom and did 19 merkins box jump to top and 19 big bois. Did this until we finished sets of 1. Once we finished those we were to do same thing but with dips and air squats. Most of the PAX, if not all, made it through round 1 and started on their dips and squats. Not sure anyone made it past 16 or 15 reps in round 2 two but it was time for some Mary. We circled up and did the following–

Flutter Kicks-Capt Crunchberry led these and I’m not sure how many we did but it wasn’t a Le Pewesque number thankfully
Bug killers or crushers or something that Grizzly led-we did these for time and they were hard and different….Airplane made note to not let Grizzly lead Mary exercise anymore. Everyone agreed-even Grizzly I think.
We were at time. I felt like this was more challenging and more of a full body workout than the firehouse because of the box jumps and hope the PAX felt the same.
Announcements that Jitterbug is collecting sleeping bags and also meeting with Catfish to see how he can help with 3rd F. Awards banquet is sometime next month. January 24th for now. A couple guys with upcoming Qs-Jitterbug at Posh tomorrow, Jolly at N Posh Monday, Backflop at S Posh Monday and Pelican for a heavy beatdown/New Years day bowl game at the County on Wednesday.
Intentions were said for some things on Grizzly’s mind and he received a good update on a young family friend that we’ve been praying for. I encouraged everyone to continue their Christmas spirit and generosity throughout their year and we ended with an Our Father.
As always I enjoyed the chance to lead.
