I let the Mutters know on Wednesday that my Q would involve no running. Larry Flynt looked downright giddy like a kid on Christmas Morning. On Thursday I reassured him and the group we would avoid running despite doing a Murph. Larry Flynt Smile melted into a frown when I modified to burpees for the Murph. Pretty sure he hates me now. Pretty sure my Pax popularity overall plummeted as well. And so it is.
Before this we warmed up with COP. SSH, Abe Vigodas, Grassgrabbers, Downward dogs, and Kendra Newmans were down by all.
Explained the plan.
Modified Murph (which I will now call a Burph):
100 Burpees
100 Pullups
200 Merkins
300 Squats
100 Burpees (this never happened)
Ultimately modified further to some Mary. Glen Ross did not do Gas Pumps. This was by design. I hate those things.
