It had been a while since I had made a weekday workout at the Posh.  This site has many great attributes, and probably should be in strong consideration for AO of the year next year.  The Poshies just need to contact their publicist, campaign manager, and social media consultant, because the site is strong.  The workout of the day, was centered in the playground area for PK’s Funhouse.  HIMs were getting after it.  We had one guy get stuck in the vertical spiral climb, and thanks to F3 he lost his weight and was back in the gloom the next day.  Not really, here is what we did.

As time arrived at 5:30 am I announced myself as the Q and laid out the disclaimer.  Amazing 16 HIMs joined me in the gloom, and the Funhouse looked like it was going to be full.  First thing was a mosey out and around the parking lot and return back to the startex for COP.

Performed the usual warm-up stretches

SSHs, Imperial Walker Squats, SSHs, Abe Vigodas, SSHs, Grass Grabbers, SSHs, Toy Soldiers, and did I mention that we did some SSHs?

Then I brought everyone over to the Funhouse.  I had eight stations set up around the playground.  Everyone was to partner up, and go to a station.  Partners would work on the exercise and perform as many good form exercises outlined at each station until it was time to switch.  The switch was driven by one station which included a run around the parking lot.

Station #1 – Run

Station #2 – Laying down rope pull ups at the Rope Tower

Station #3 – Donkey Kicks by the bathroom

Station #4 – Bear Crawl around the toddler swing sets

Station #5 – Step-up or Box Jumps on ledge between swing sets and middle school playground

Station #6 – Pull-ups on the monkey bars at the middle school playground

Station #7 – Merkins near the entrance to the play area

Station #8 – Frog jump around the water spray tunnel

After completing the circuit, we moseyed back over to the startex with a short double applesauce (two line Indian run).  We still had a little time to spare so we finished out with some Absolution.

Time was 6:15.  Time for Name-o-Rama, announcements, and naming of the FNG.  We settled on Colonel Klink.  Good background, and good dude.  As we were leaving the workout, I thought of another great name after what he said while we wrapped things up.  He said, “Thanks for letting me come out and join your intramurals.”  This dude was throwing some serious shade.  Proposed name change to Sequoia.

With that, I am thankful to come up with a workout and have the support from the group to lead and try something new.    Hopefully next workout no one will end up like the guy below.  That looks like an F3 routine gone bad.  Until next time, and hopefully the backblast won’t be so delayed. Thanks again, PK.
