Backblast #TheChopper 2/28/20. Wait, is that the County Flag?

Thanks to all the PAX that came out to my first Q at The Vets Friday morning, 26 strong!  There is something very unique and special about Vets and the energy was fantastic.  Post and or Q there if you have not done so.

PAX= Jitterbug (QIC), Number2 (R), Meatball, Deepdish, Gapetto, Stick Up, Skittles (FNG Welcome), Zipline, Pelican, Hushpuppy, PK, Ladybird (R), Emma (Woof), Backdraft, Sweetart, Firtle Myrtle, Mamas Boy, Tenderfoot, Cookie, Wiki, Tony Malito, Vincent (R), Macafee, Buzzsaw, Do Si Do, Ripple, Kilo

COP- Mosey with some high knees and butt kicks, SSH, Imperial Walkers, Grass Grabbers, 5 Boyos, Stretching

Thang 1-  Started behind the Monument Circle. Had PAX Partner Up. The Thang was to have the PAX Perform 10 Booyah Merkins together then Sprint in opposite directions and meet at other end of the Circle and do 10 Tuck Jumps, then rinse and repeat with 15 and then 20 Booyahs.  We were delayed in the intro by the fact that after two years I couldn’t seem to remember that a Push Up  was called a Merkin, PAX were rightly confused by what a Booyah Push up was. Thanks to Kilo and Macafee for getting me back on track,

Thang 2- Partner up again with Tomb as starting point. Partner 1 would do a lap around the monument Circle while partner 2 AMRap’d an exercise and then switch. The 4 exercises were Derkins, Hop Ups, Dips, and Monkey Humpers. Total of 4 laps each

I had noted a flag being planted just before we started, and At Some point during the proceedings Kilo realized it was actually the County Flag! Well Played County Boyz, Well Played.  But remember, Kilo doesn’t forget!

Thang 3 Put on some tunes and it was time for some You vs You. I asked the PAX to perform 10 Reps each of Burpees, Squat Jumps, Carolina Dry Docks, and Groiners all in succession, and then give me an all you got around the Circle. Rinse and Repeat. I called time with about 3 Minutes left for some Mary.

COR, NOR, Announcements and Intentions…It is always and honor and humbling to lead, especially such a large group.  Again, something very special about Vets, until next time. Jitterbug Out!
