Welcome to the SLASHER RUCK, March Friday the 13th!

Tonight, we will recreate the typical horror movie chase scene.  This is where the victim sees the “slasher”, has a head start, and seems perfectly healthy/able to get away, but something always slows them down to be caught.  Meanwhile the seemingly slow moving “slasher” (i.e. Jason, Mike Myers, Frankenstein, etc.) always knows where the victim is going and catches them with ease.

“Slashers vs. Victims” who will win?

Details:

  • 3 rounds of Slashers vs. Victims
  • Goals for each round are for the Slasher teams to kill (i.e. catch) as many Victim teams as they can before they reach the safe zone. Slasher and Victim teams will both know the safe zone, just as they do in the movies, but the Slasher team won’t know the route the Victim teams will take (some strategy will be in play here).
  • Prizes will be awarded to the winners at end of every round:
    • Reward to each Victim team that makes it to the safe zone safely (and in the allotted time)
      • First Victim team to make it safe gets a special bonus
    • Reward to the Slasher teams, if they can kill (i.e. catch) at least 1 Victim team
  • Punishment PT will be doled out to any Victim team that is killed or Slasher team that doesn’t catch a single Victim team.
    • This will occur while the other winning teams watch and enjoy their reward
  • Victim teams:
    • Multiple Victim teams per round, selected night of event
    • Victim teams receive a head start before the Slasher teams come after you
    • Just as in movies, you will be slowed down, in this case by extra weight
    • Each Victim team chooses the route they take to the safe zone (strategy in play here)
    • Will have a target time to reach the safe zone and must make it by that time
  • Slasher teams:
    • 1 -2 Slasher teams per round, selected night of event
    • Delayed start by having to complete a PT goal before being able to go after the Victim teams
    • No extra weight for potential speed advantage
    • Any team that doesn’t make it to the safe zone by set time will also be considered “killed” by you
