This was my first Q at The Inferno since being named an official AO [or at least I think it is]. It was good to get back out to this AO and lead because it is just like home and seems like work travels have kept me away from it for the past month. Plus, Captain Crunchberry’s flag inspired me to purchase my own LED road flares that I can’t wait to put to use sometime soon.
PAX:
- Brown Water
- Flip Flop
- Cratchit
- Fungi
- Kimble
- Captain Crunchberry
- Viking
- Jolly Rancher (Q)
Time was called just as Flip Flop was pulling into the parking lot. Disclaimers were provided and then we set out for a short mosey in the parking lot to avoid the garbage truck that was exiting Foley Avenue. We stopped up on the main pad of the firehouse for some warm-ups.
COP:
- Side straddle hops
- Downward dog + runners stretches
- Grass grabbers – front and back
- Grass grabbers – left and right
- Kendra Neumans
Then, we took off on another mosey to the back of the firehouse to pick up the coupons to stage them in the main parking lot where the Thang was introduced.
Thang – The Cooper:
Goal here was to do a set of exercises and the run a lap around the grounds – lap was basically down Foley to Highway 146, to Friendship Manor Drive, to Pollock, and back to Foley. The exercises were:
- Man Makers
- Tricep Extensions / Skull Crushers
- Squats w/ the Coupon
We started off with 10x reps of each exercise and then reduce the rep count by one for each lap. Flip Flop was probably on like 3 reps while I ended at like 5 reps when time had to be called. That man was full on beast mode.
We returned the coupons and went back to the flag for a little bit of Mary.
Mary:
Well, maybe it wasn’t really Mary because we did a Merkin Waterfall. Made it from 10 reps to 5 reps before time had to be called.
COT:
We stayed the appropriate distance apart from each other, completed count-a-rama, name-a-rama, announcements and intentions.
Be safe and stay healthy, gentlemen!
Jolly Rancher out!
