Presenting Your 2020 F3Louisville Iron Horses

On December 19, 2019 I sent out the PreBlast announcing the 2020 the Iron Horse Challenge. Over the next two weeks 50+ PAX members of F3Louisville signed up to take on the challenge, which is designed to to encourage PAX members to continue getting out ITG in the winter months when conditions are often less than ideal. I admit, from my perspective overseeing the challenge the first few week were a little challenging (no pun intended) as there were a lot of questions about the rules I’d laid out. Nonetheless, we got through them & I’ve been blown away by the activity of the PAX participating in this challenge. The commitment of the PAX who participated made it easy for me to be committed to putting in the work to track & communicate their progress throughout. Things with COVID-19 got real as we entered into the last 7-8 days of the challenge, but these HIMs continued to find ways to post via outlets like Zoom. 

Enough with the fluff, here’s the results:

29 PAX completed the Iron Horse Challenge & over the first 91 days of 2020 combined for 1,483 total posts (which is an average of 4 posts per week per PAX member). Here’s a break down of the number of PAX from each AO to complete the challenge:

As I said, I was blown away by the output of these HIMs over the last three months & am humbled to have them participate in something I put together. Having said that, I’m glad I won’t be in charge of this thing in 2021 (as I have Flounder literally messaging me right now on Slack asking if I quit running the challenge).
