Nothing gloomy about the weather this morning. I thought the long weekend may tamp down the numbers, so I was excited that the Boondocks still hit double figures today.
After the standard disclaimers, we moseyed across campus then warmed up with Grass Grabbers, Toy Soldiers, and downward dog stretching.
The Thang: We partnered up for a modified DORA. Instead of reps, each partner had to complete three sets of each exercise. The sets were measured by however long it took the other partner to complete the corresponding run. I ripped off pure barre moves to target legs and hips for each of the exercises (Pure BarF3?), and now none of us want to become dancers.
We jogged back with dead legs and circled up for a quick dose of Mary.
We closed out with announcements, intentions, and I reiterated the wonderful message communicated at other workouts over Memorial Day weekend. It’s always a blast to get out there and lead the group. Cochran out.
