Your 2025/26 SLT (Shared Leadership Team) is on fire this year! So much good stuff happening around the region that your fellas have been compelled to be Freed to Lead with. Today’s shared beatdown was just one example. It’s no surprise that your boy Wax-On (current 2rdF Q), who’s been known for his creative trivia Q’s and (pickle) spearheading Sunday’s pickle ball competitions, was the mastermind behind today’s collaborative effort. What started out as an idea over a month ago (probably longer), became a reality as 9 of your past and present SLT members were your ghost Q’s for today. He organized a team, had everyone come up with a few minutes of work with a travel, mapped it out, communicated with a channel and with some help from Captain Crunchberry produced one giant, master wienke for us all to use. Of course Holy Roller had “Holy Roller” his version to include cut slabs of wood. Each site had their own unique variations of COP and setup but the main Thang was all the same. What an epic idea my man and I hope you can sleep well tonight knowing that it’s over!
From the Hawk’s Nest: Started out with a mosey around the church. COP consisted of COP stuff and then we’d mosey to each station to give a brief explanation of the work before we got underway. Thankfully Sourdough came through in the clutch to remind us of how to do a Gydora. Some other noteworthy observations: School Zone is a beast and a solid cheerleader, Outlook was an animal as he rocked a weight vest the whole time for some EC, Cropduster is really good at his Nuclear cadence, Crackhead loves Bear Crawls and Red Rider doesn’t have quitting in his DNA!
Today was one for the memory books and I’ll be keeping this in my mind palace for a long time to come.
It was a pleasure being with you boys today and honored to have been given the tap on the shoulder to play a part.
