12.16.25 BackBlast: The Cliffs @ The Garden

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your Garden Grow?

Well, it’s easy. You get one dude (Husky) to ask another dude to lead (plant the seed). Then you reach out on your text thread to get the chatter going (ample water and sunshine). Follow that up with relentless asks from Glowsticks for HCs to show up (eco friendly plant food to move the process along). Throw a Worm in the mix to break in the soil for fertilization. The result: 13 sprouts that arose from the darkness of the Gloom, spread their roots of hard work and ability out on the day and grew up something fierce and sturdy with the strength and support of each in only a short 45 minutes!!

T’was a great day at The Garden! YHC was reunited with and surrounded by likeminded friends that put in some solid work!

We started with a two lap mosey to get warm quick. Then we circled up for a quick runners stretch and to get the MC cooking. Following that we did a catch me if you can wherein partner 1 would do a slow mosey around the lot. Partner 2 would pick it up, double time for close to an “all out” to catch up with partner 1. We would carry on in this fashion until 3 rounds were completed.

A couple of 10 counts before heading to the coupon stash that mysteriously has become a little light, having turkey coupons almost outnumbering the regular coupons. We grabbed a good mix and circled up for the rest of some COP stretching stuff.

Next, we’d tour the campus with coupons in tow, stopping periodically for 10 shoulder press, 10 squats, 10 thrusters and 5 man makers. Now at the top lot in front of the church we’d get in a round of coupon suicides with 5 burpees er’y time we got back to the baseline.

Had just enough time after to mosey back to the stash, return our coupons and circle up at the flag right at 0615.

Made some announcements and lifted up our intentions. I appreciate Husky for tapping me on the shoulder and Glowsticks for being the consummate HL’er working the thread to bring a crew out to MTGGA!!

Until next time…
