It’s hard for me to believe but this will be the 7th year in a row for this challenge that began as a CSAUP/Freed to Lead type of idea in 2020. To say that I’m humbled to have had over 150 different guys participate in the past 6 years would be an understatement. I’ve had a front row view, standing witness to mental and physical transformations of PAX all across our region. This is a challenge that opens up the doors to possibilities. Once you uncover what you are capable of, you find yourself testing the waters in other areas of your fitness as well. This past year we had 34 men…that’s right 34!! Representing 11 different AOs!!! that completed the challenge of 2025 pull-ups in three months. Many of those men went above and beyond that, some got to 5,000 and a couple of elites reached 10,000!! It starts with saying “yes.” Yes to something difficult. Yes to something that will take persistence and consistency. Yes to uncovering a part of you that you didn’t know was there. Won’t you join us this year?
The meat and potatoes: Join the channel, 2026_pull_up_challenge. Complete 2026 pull-ups in 91 days from January 1st – March 31st. It ends up only being about 23/day. You can knock them all out at once or break them up throughout the day. Feel free to get to 2026 as fast as you want. You can stop there or you can keep pushing (pulling) for more! Pushing for greatness!!
But Bird (one might say), I can’t even do one pull-up! I don’t give a shit about that! It starts by saying yes to the challenge and joining 2026-pull-up-challenge on Slack. Once there, guys will share best practices, motivation and accountability. You can use bands to assist you, pull yourself up from the floor using a table, dead hang to strengthen the area…whatever it takes! It all counts!! If you have questions, let me know.
