Q-Glen Ross: Pax (10) OJ, Red Roof, Gillespie, Bean Counter, Butcher, Tron, Spinal Tap, Double Down (Respect), Loco

Conditions:  59, feels like 59.  Wow, when signing up to Q in mid-January I never would have expected this treat.

Gear: All in attendance had shorts on and no caps.

I usually finalize everything at Heine Bros the day before, but at night, with so much adrenaline, I’m always thinking about whether it will be enough or what changes I should make.  Ether way, I have so much fun planning and putting it all together–like a great sales meeting I can’t wait for the day to start.

Also, this was my 3rd Q at the O and my first TempleofGloom.  And my very first day was a Thursday at the O  (August 17), when I finally ran out of excuses and just showed up.

With a total of 10 HIMs, I gave the 10 second stretch countdown and we got started.   Mosey over to the tennis courts for brief warm-up

15 SSH (IC)/ 15 Imperial Walkers (IC)/ 15 Plank Jacks (IC)/ Arm Circles (30 seconds forward, 30 seconds backwards)

Next head over to the bathrooms/ Wham’s! spot.  Its always funny watching a bunch of guys huddled around a park bathroom at 5:30 in the morning–so I always try to work this into my Q’s at the O.  So everyone found a spot along the wall for 15 Dips/ 15 Derkins.  We did 3 sets and headed for the coupons.

After grabbing the coupons, we circled up for the following:

15 Curls/ 15 Overhead presses/ 15 coupon squats/ 15 one armed rows.  Wed did 3 sets, put the coupons down and jogged to the end of the field.  In a line we did 10 BOYOs and then exited the park.  Entering the cul-de-sac, we circled up for a 1/2 Webb–should tap/ merkins.

1/4, 2/8, 3/12, 4/16, 5/20.  Not a bad way to squeeze in 60 quick merkins.

We finished with a crab walk down the street (about 40 yards to the bottom).  At the bottom, we did 30 LBCs, then bear crawled back up the street back to the cul-de-sac for 30 more LBCs.  Re-enter the park and do a quick 15 BOYOs and then jog back to our coupons for one more set.  15 curls/ 15/ presses/ 15 squats/ 15 rows

Put the coupons back and head back to the bathrooms for some more derkin/ dips.  2 more sets and we moseyed back over to the tennis courts

Circled up.  We did 15 Gas Pumps (IC), 15 Freddie Mercuries (IC), 20 American Hammers (IC) and 20 big boy sit-ups.  We finished it off with 40 more LBCS to get the total to 100 for the day.  at exactly 6:15 we headed over to the flags for COT

Pain total for the day:  Probably a 7.5.  Not too bad but I’m sure some of the guys will have some sore arms later in the day.

Name-o-Rama/ 6 went to Butcher, who got his name back in October.  Butcher is a vegan.

Intentions:  Mentioned intentions on slack–keep them up!  We offered support for some of the Pax that are sick/ injured and unable to get out–take care and get well soon, we miss you guys.  Also gave thanks to all of our M’s for being so supportive of what we do each morning w/ F3 and reminded all to make sure we show them how much we appreciate their love and support–make sure we are taking care of business at home!

Ended with prayer of thanks.  Its truly an amazing group to be a part of and I’m thankful for the opportunity to Q with such a great group of guys.  I’m glad that I ran out of excuses back August and thankful for all of those that encouraged me to come out.  I never thought back then that I would have been doing what I’m doing now.  Thank you
