I knew the forecast was favorable going into this morning’s WO, however, when I woke up this morning I was still surprised to see the temperature was 57 degrees. About 30 seconds after I left my house, the skies opened up and I found myself in the middle of a pretty good downpour. Luckily I live a few miles from The Mutt so that small shower was not in danger of disrupting what was planned. When I arrived there were a few early risers already there ready to get better. Slowly more people started to arrive including Deuce without sleeves and Sump Pump who asked to see my weinke. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable and harassed in my life. Once the embarrassment ceased I felt I was ready to lead the best I could.
After the by probably poor attempt at a disclaimer and the customary mosey around the school we circled up for some COP: 25 SSH, 25 grassgrabbers, 25 hillbillies, downward dog, runners stretch, whatever you call it when you then put your hand in the air after the runners stretch, switched sides, and then cobra.
Thang 1-Scout Run with 3 burpees: With 17 PAX we split into 2 lines for the run. There must have been an A Team and a B Team because the A Team finished a good half block ahead of the B Team
Thang 2-Mary: LBC, American Hammers, Rosalitas, Pretzel Crunch, and Freddie Mercuries. We did 45 seconds of AMRAP followed by a 15 second rest. Then Repeat.
Thang 3-Coupon work: Curls, Overheads, Bench Press, Rows, Coupon Swings, Halos, Squats. 20 reps of each and then repeat.
Thang 4-7 count Merkin Time Bomb
We returned the coupons and headed back to the flag for some circle time. After count off, name-o-rama, announcements, and some intentions I stumbled through what some might call a prayer. Thanks for all that came out this morning.
