Since we are a little less than 3 months away from the Star Course, a couple of us wanted to get some mileage in while we had the time. I spoke to OJ and Kilo on Friday at the awards banquet about getting some mileage in. After OJ sent me a message on slack saying they had to cancel, I texted Kilo to see if he was still in to ruck. Kilo said he, Hot Wheels and Worm were planning on rucking at Pope Lick Park. “I’m in!”
At 4:15 AM, I got up to get ready since it was quite a haul over to the J-Town area. After getting ready, I hopped in the car and headed that way. On the way I got a text from Hot Wheels asking if I was still in to ruck, and I told him I was on my way. He told me that kilo texted and said he was out.
It didn’t even take our Fartsack King 48 hours to live up to his namesake! Wat to go Kilo, we are so proud to call you our Fartsacker!
So around 5:05 AM, Hot Wheels, Worm and I headed out on a nice little ruck. Weather was great, a little windy at first, but turned out to be wonderful!
All in all we got just over 8 miles in and had some great 2nd F along the way.
