Tuesdays are notable in the F3 Louisville region. We typically have our highest numbers on Tuesdays. Not sure if it is because we have a wealth of sites and workout options, because of Tank Top Tuesday, or because it’s the first day the guys from the Mutt can workout during the week. Either way, Kilo sent out a message to try to crack 100 today, so I was expecting some strong numbers across the board.
We hit 95, but the goals still remains 100. Let’s see if we can do it next week.
With that being said, I enjoy going to the Mutt on Tuesdays (The Rooster as they like to call it) because of the excitement for the first workout of the week and they always show out. So when the calendar was open less than a week out and I was free, I jumped at the opportunity to Q.
It’s only been a couple months since my last Q, but I remembered Plumb Bob saying he really liked the last one, so I decided to do some minor modifications and see if I could make a strong workout even stronger.
So here is how it went.
Weather: 30+ degrees, clear and a slight wind, just enough to allow Pope’s nips to be on perfect display through his highlighter tank top.
Gearlander: This is just for Zoo. (Disclaimer: Zoo, if you read this within the first 48 hours it is published, send me a note and I will wear slacks, button and a tie to my next workout at the Mutt. But you have to be there to see it)
Nike Dri-Fit hat, Under Armour hoodie, 32 degree baselayer, Costco Simple Pants, and New Balance 880.
PAX: Blueprint, Fall Guy (R), Hamm, Left Eye, Whitney (R), Fergie, Windshield, Wham-O (R), Fridge, Old Bay, Mouth, Deuce, Sump Pump, Pope, Handbook, Plumb Bob, McAfee (QIC)
COP
After a quick disclaimer, we moseyed around the building to the larger parking lot for our warm up:
Kendra Newmans OYO
Michael Phelps OYO
10-1 Motivators (If you have not done this one, ask the boys from this morning, it’s a nice SSH variation for a warm up)
We then grabbed coupons and came back up to the parking lot. From here we did an overhead coupon carry around the building back to the drive-thru. We stopped at each corner of the building to perform either 10 shoulder presses or 10 curls.

1:4 ratio of Merkins and Coupon Should Presses – This was a rough finisher. Props to those who got as many shoulder presses in.
We went to deliver the coupons back to their resting place. Thanks to Mouth we have a few ready for 2.0s at their next post.
