It never easy to follow a legend, a monthly ruck event or the day after an awards night. When I agreed to Q, I never realized the awards banquet was to be held the night before. I arrived early to ensure that I was on time, to setup my weinke and check out the areas I had planned to use. I worried when I was ten minutes before the start and all I saw were girls getting ready to run. Gypsy arrived first and helped to setup flags. The ground was so cold that it bent one of the flag shovels. Ladybird arrived before the start. I provided the disclaimer and we moseyed to where I held the COP. A couple of COP exercises in, Mr Kotter rolled in hot.

5 big boys run across the bridge 5 squats
Run back cross the bridge adding 5 on each side until we got to 30 each.
Then we moseyed to the pavilion.
THANG 2 – The Pavilion
I like throwing in tabatas ever since BigBird introduced them to me.
I did two songs. On the first one, i did Rocky and did step up for 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off. It lasted four minutes. The second song was Back in Black where we did dips and lunges for four minutes with 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off.
Then, we moseyed to the parking lot where I had cones setup.
THANG 3- Quarter Pounder
Sprint 6 parking spaces, 25 big boys and Bernie Sanders back to the start.
Sprint 13 parking spaces, 50 squats, Bernie Sanders back to the start.
Sprint 20 parking spaces, 75 calf raises, Bernie Sanders back to the start.
Sprint 26 parking spaces, 100 Bobby Hurleys, Bernie Sanders back to the start.
Then we did Butkus which is a toe taps for one minute.
We collected the cones and moseyed back to the flag. There was not much time so I only had time for Flutter Kicks 20 IC.
COT
We concluded with count-o-rama, name-o-rama, intentions and prayer.
I am always humbled to lead and look forward to the next time.
