Weather was just fine.
I showed up earlier than usual and there were already several waiting, which was great to see. Its always a bit humbling to see everyone roll in and it was great to see as they kept coming. 24 other HIMs was a pretty good sight to start off the day.
0530 hit and disclaimer was given. I mentioned that I don’t like my birthday and so we were going to do some things that I don’t particularly care for. Start right off the bat with 20 BOYOs before anything else.
Mosey around the walking path, everyone grab a coupon from the coupon garden and head up to the main lot for COP. SSHs, 10 diamond merkins, grass grabbers, 10 merkins with right leg raised in the air, Kendra Newmans, 10 merkins with left leg raised in the air.
Thing 1 – burpee bear crawl webb. Start at the end of the big lot, but since we had big numbers today, broke into two groups with one heading toward Cherrywood and the other heading toward where the flag is planted. 1 burpee, 4 bear crawls in the standard webb fashion until 10 burpees and 40 bear crawls achieved. I forget who Q’d this the first time I did it, but it is one of those things that just hurts me.
Thing 2 – partner up. Partner 1 would AMRAP an exercise while Partner 2 ran a lap around the big parking lot. 5 rounds, AMRAP exercises – curls, coupon merkins, jump lunges, Freddie Mercuries, shoulder shrugs w/ coupon in each hand.
Return coupons and head to the flag. Just enough time for a few rounds of Mary – 20 big bois, 20 LBCs (IC), 20 box cutters (IC), and then everyone spell Happy Birthday with their feet for me.
Time was called, so circle up around the flag.
COR, NOR, COT. Worm gave Buschhhh a gift for the donation from the F3 golf scramble and then mentioned he was close to his donation goal for Camp Quality, which is an incredible number. Let’s help get him there! There were also plugs for upcoming Ruck events, and intentions were given.
