1/4/18 BackBlast @the”O” #Burpees

A total of 11 PAX made it out in the gloom for a burpee beatdown. Q- Vincent, Gillespie, Scratch, Red Roof, Sully, O.J., Nugget, GlynRoss, Cardinal, Bean Counter and Mayberry we’re present and accounted for! Side Note, I did get a message from Cutlass at 5:12am. He hated to miss but was on an international conf call. Is Cutlass a Spy?

We moseyed from the flag to the bottom of the Cul-de-sac and warmed up with SSH, Imp Walker, Grass Grabbers and Abe Vigoda’s.

We then proceeded to do a little hill work. StarChild jump squats at the bottom, starting with 1 and 5 Merkins at the top. We repeated until the cycle was reversed. My PreBlast said no running but we needed a little to break through the 11 degree temp.

From the Cul-De-sac we moseyed over to the coupons. This is where the fun started.

15 Coupon Burpees followed by Lt Dan – 1 squat to 4 lunges. We called it at 7/28. On to the tennis courts for…

10 Contra burpees. Burpees with descending merkins, 10 down to 1 followed by Mary Webb’s. Bay City Scissors and LBC’s with a 1/4 ratio. Again we made it to 7/28.

Final set – 10 Burpo’s. Burpees starting and ending in the squat position. We ended this set with Jack Webs, Shoulder taps from Plank position then Air Presses. This time we made it to 10/40.

With the remaining few minutes we did Freddy Marc’s, American Hammers and Davinci Sit-ups.

Things look good on paper at times but this was tougher than it sounds. It was a good total body workout and the soreness is setting in already. The PAX performed admirably!!

Nugget had the 6. Reminders about Iron Horse challenge and the coat drive were mentioned and we ended with a short prayer to the Sky Q!
