As I was watching one of my favorite shows “Suits” the new Apple iWatch commercial kept repeating. The tag line was “There’s a Better You in You”.
It got me thinking about what we do out here ITG, day after day, week after week. We are all striving be better than we were yesterday.

As our minds do, mine wondered to a great book by Dr. Seuss “Oh, the Places You’ll Go”. My wife purchased each of my kids this book and has their teachers write something in it after completing the school year. This is one of the many things I love about her, her forethought. When reading this book, it maps out things that might happen to you as you go through this life we live. The good, the bad, the struggles, the awesome, the slumps, the bumps, the waiting, the staying, the winning, the losing, the succeeding. We have to decide what paths we take. We don’t always make the right choices. We can only hope that we learn from them and be better than we were before.

10 IC Side straight arm shoulder raises, right and left (on your hands and knees)
10 IC Front straight arm shoulder raises, right and left (on your hands and knees)
10 IC Slow motion Mountain Climbers
10 IC Plank Up/Downs
10 IC Merkins
10 IC Fire Hydrant, right and left (on your hands and knees)

Thang 2: (Partner up), stop and plank when each 100 count is completed, Q will call start of next exercise

You won’t lag behind, because you’ll have the speed.
You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead.
Wherever you fly, you’ll be best of the best.
Wherever you go, you will top all the rest.

but, sadly, it’s true
that Bang-ups
and Hang-ups
can happen to you

You can get all hung up
in a prickle-ly perch.
And your gang will fly on.
You’ll be left in a Lurch.

You’ll come down from the Lunch
with an unpleasant bump.
And the chances are, then,
that you’ll be in a Slump.

And when you’re in a Slump,
you’re not in for much fun.
Un-slumping yourself
is not easily done.
